About Eric

Hello! I’m Eric Olsen, a longtime teacher of playful chakra work and zesty law of attraction goodness. I'm a big fan of the Abraham-Hicks philosophy, which is deeply woven into everything I offer.   (See some of my recent Abraham adventure pics below!)

I became fascinated with chakras in 1989, when I was an innocent young piano teacher. Some of my adult students had painful postural problems from their practice time at the bench. As a pianist with a mystical bent, I'd been studying yoga mudras (yogic hand gestures), and yoga/chakra work did help many of them find relief.

Many, if not most, students also struggled with stage fright. I began exploring chakra work to help them perform with deeper ease—playing from the inner joy of the soul, and beyond performance anxiety. (This also led to significant improvements in musicality.) I continued to refine many fun chakra practices over the next 40 years, teaching both yoga and piano.

In 1996, I started to develop "Yoga Tapping" after discovering acupoint tapping from Roger Callahan and TFT. (His student, Gary Craig, simplified that later into EFT). Yoga Tapping is a fun, original synthesis of acupoint and bilateral tapping integrated with the chakra energy system.

The plot thickened while moving across country in 1999. In Texas, I spent many miles driving next to a large bus with a sign that boldly declared: "Life Is Supposed To Be Fun." This caught my eye, as much of my chakra work involved helping students to have fun, especially my piano students. I always sought to help them "play" the piano, not "work" the piano.

Six months later, I discovered Esther and Jery Hicks and the Law of Attraction, and realized I had been driving alongside the famous Abraham-Hicks "Monster Bus."  You cheeky little Law of Attraction! Stop showing off!

I've actually had some interesting conversations with Abraham about that experience, having being in the “hot seat” over 25 times at dozens of Abraham workshops and cruises. (They really are a blast.) It's safe to say that their teachings about manifesting are fully wired into my work, which is why I've come to call it Yoga Manifesting.

Finding Abraham has truly made all the difference in creating the life I've always wanted. And the fun continues! I've been doing more travelling and less teaching recently, but I do continue to offer online classes, individual sessions and "call-free" coaching as time allows.

I've also created some fun little audio mini-courses that introduce a variety of Yoga Manifesting tools for various topics.

The Law of Attraction

The Law of Attraction is based on a simple but powerful idea: we attract experiences that match our emotional state. Our thoughts and feelings are not just private events inside the mind—they are vibrational offerings to a responsive universe.

When we feel at ease with appreciation, curiosity, or joy, we are in harmony with the natural flow of Source Energy, and helpful people, ideas, and opportunities appear more easily. When we feel tense, discouraged, or fearful, we diminish our experience of pranic flow. The emphasis in this work is not on forcing outcomes, but on gently guiding yourself into a better-feeling state, one small step at a time.

This means that feeling good is not a luxury—it is our guidance system. Positive emotions indicate alignment with your deeper energy, while negative emotions simply let you know you’ve wandered off course. Nothing has gone wrong; it’s just an invitation to adjust your focus, soften your body, and reconnect with ease.

This perspective fits beautifully with chakra work, because chakras are closely connected with emotional patterns. Each chakra reflects certain feeling states—confidence, safety, love, expression, clarity. When emotions are flowing freely, the chakra system feels open and balanced. When emotions become stuck—as we hold thoughts and feelings that are not in harmony with joy and abundance—energy feels tight or sluggish in those areas, and we get down in the dumps.

Practices like breathing, awareness, and Yoga Tapping help restore ease to both the emotional and energetic systems. As you feel better emotionally, the chakras naturally begin to balance. And as the chakras balance, it becomes easier to feel good. In this way, emotional alignment and energy alignment work together, quietly supporting the process of allowing more of what you want into your life, as you become a more deliberate creator of your experience.

Yoga Tapping

Yoga Tapping is a simple, playful practice that combines two ancient maps of the human energy system: the acupoints used in traditional tapping methods, and the chakra system used in yoga. By gently tapping specific points on the body—especially those connected with the chakras—you help the nervous system relax, release emotional tension, and restore a sense of balance and clarity. I’ve been developing and refining this approach for more than 30 years, integrating what I’ve observed through yoga, teaching, and energy work into a method that is easy to learn and quite fun.

Modern research has taken a strong interest in tapping techniques. More than 300 university-level scientific studies have examined their effects, reporting reductions in stress, anxiety, and emotional distress. Brain imaging studies with MRIs have shown measurable changes in areas involved in fear, emotional regulation, and calm focus, suggesting that tapping helps signal safety to the nervous system and quiet the brain’s stress response.

Even more remarkably, some studies examining gene expression have found that tapping may influence activity in genes related to stress regulation, immune function, and inflammation. In simple terms, calming the emotional system appears to create beneficial changes not only in the mind, but also in the body at a cellular level.

Yoga Tapping brings this modern understanding together with the chakra system, offering a gentle way to help your energy, emotions, and nervous system return to their natural state of ease and flow.

Past-Life Wizardry

Matrix Energetics is another chakra modality that I've integrated into my work. I became certified in Matrix Energetics in 2007, and its principles offer a fascinating new way of understanding how quickly the body and mind can shift.

The Matrix approach works with subtle awareness, intention, and the underlying field of energy and information that connects everything. Rather than trying to force changes, it emphasizes allowing gentle and playful shifts to occur naturally, often in surprisingly effortless ways.

One of the many ideas in Matrix is that the energy patterns we hold often have roots in past lives. By bringing awareness and lighthearted intention to specific past lives—not with hypnotic reression, but in a playful waking state—it becomes easier to release patterns that no longer serve us.

This resonates strongly with traditional yogic teachings, which describe the soul as moving through many lifetimes, carrying impressions known as samskaras. These impressions influence how we feel, act, and respond in the present.

Clearing these older patterns helps to restore a sense of freedom and lightness to the energy body. This supports the gentle release of old patterns, so that new, more supportive experiences can emerge naturally.

Online Yoga Classes

For most of the year, I offer weekly live online classes, where we explore chakra work, Yoga Tapping, gentle energy exercises, and a variety of fun manifestion techniques.

Each class is relaxed and welcoming, with guided practices designed to help you feel lighter, calmer, and more aligned—no prior experience in yoga or manifesting is necessary. These live sessions are a wonderful way to experience the work directly.

Personal Sessions

I also offer individual Zoom sessions focused on chakra work and other energy approches to manifesting. These private sessions may include Yoga Tapping, chakra balancing, and transformational energy techniques from Matrix Energetics (including past-life work) to help release old energy patterns and support greater alignment with the joy and abundance of Source.
